Providence, RI (October 28,  2009) – Tom Flanagan, Director of Technology for Residential Properties Ltd., was invited by Active Website to present on how social networking and content effects your website at the 2009 Enterprise Conference. The conference was held in Breckenridge, CO and ran from October 21, 2009 to October 23, 2009. It hosted the premier independent companies in the Real Estate business throughout the world.

Tom demonstrated real examples of how Residential Properties engages with their customers through social media, content and usability. Customers in the near future will rely on social media to find products/services. Key features to consider are “Are you visible to them, is your content engaging?” Most importantly, this presentation reviewed how rich, “sticky” content ultimately improves the chance a customer will find you on search engines. Finally, Tom talked about how future content with seek customers versus the customers searching for the content.

Other presentations included a guest presentation by Bill Tancer, demographic guru and author of “Click,” who presented his analysis on the impact of Social Networking in relation to online traffic and the changing demographics for the real estate industry online; and an overview of the Tobii realtime eye tracking hardware and the use of this to research the visibility impact on websites and other presentation media for product placement and locating the high impact spot.
